Conservation Video Camp

Co-Sponsored by the Potomac Valley Audubon Society

We regret to announce that Conservation Video Camp has been postponed to a later date, to be determined.  Our lead instructor has a family emergency and must be out of town for the scheduled week of camp.  We will keep you posted on possible future dates.  All those who registered have been notified and refunded their tuition.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment.

The Conservation Video Summer Camp is being co-sponsored by the Potomac Valley Audubon Society and in partnership with Shepherd University for students in grades 7-12.  The camp will be held on Shepherd University campus on June 25-29, 2018, 9am-4pm.

During this exciting week, students will learn the art and technique of making videos about conservation and the environment. Tools, supplies, instruction, and field experience will be provided so each participant can create a short conservation-themed movie. No experience required. Videographers will use i-pad and i-movie software, which is provided for the week if not owned by the camper. The week will finish with a reception and screening of the campers’ films.

Cost: $250 for PVAS Members, $270 for non-members
