October 12, 2018 – Festival Kick-Off Reception
at Blue Moon Cafe, 9pm-11pm

Join us at Blue Moon Cafe, Shepherdstown to kick-off the 2018 festival! Mix and mingle with filmmakers, and enjoy snacks and drinks! Sponsors and filmmakers admitted free. $15/person.

September 29, 11am: FUN FOR KIDS. Story Hour & Craft with a nature theme at Shepherdstown Public Library.

October 9-October 12: FESTIVAL HEADQUARTERS at Groovetown Lounge, 119 West German Street, Shepherdstown. Headquarters will be open each day Noon-6pm to welcome you, sell festival tickets, and distribute programs and partner information. 

October 12: FESTIVAL KICK-OFF RECEPTION, 9pm-11pm at Groovetown Lounge (Festival Headquarters). Get in the festival spirit with friends, appetizers, and cocktails! Sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka. $15/person.

October 12 & 13: CONSERVATION FILMMAKER WORKSHOP. Hands-on expert instruction from top filmmakers and media experts on a variety of topics are presented to emerging and seasoned filmmakers to hone skills, encourage collaboration, and provide networking opportunities. 

October 13, 10am: FUN FOR KIDS. Backyard Wilderness Film & Exhibit plus a Nature Walk at the National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) during  the festival.

October 19-21: ACFF ENCORE WEEKEND. Enjoy 8 award-winning films, including the audience choice at the Frank Art Center, Shepherd University, 260 University Drive, Shepherdstown.

October 20: FUN FOR KIDS. Bioblitz event at Cool Spring Preserve.  Explore and observe! Register for FREE here!

October–November: Backyard Wilderness Exhibit at Cool Spring Preserve in partnership with the Potomac Valley Audubon Society.
