Little Brown Bird
An unlikely team of female biologists, ranchers and other community members, conservationists, and Air Force rangers collaborate to protect the Florida grasshopper sparrow from extinction mainly caused by its habitat loss in the Florida dry prairie. The film also details the meticulous scientific work involved in saving the birds, including protecting nests; netting, banding, and weighing them; and closely observing them.
