The Birds

A renowned wildlife filmmaker, facing the twilight of his career, sets out to use his camera to decipher the relationship between a million seabirds and a single hunting falcon in England’s Wash estuary. Ultimately his cinematic portrait of this “cosmic event” provides crucial insights both into the hidden mechanisms of the natural world and the psyche of a filmmaker coming to terms with the end of a life well lived.
