Hidden Wild
Behind the homes and freeways of suburban Palm Beach County, an incredible network of swamps, scrub, and waterways lies waiting to be discovered. Join science educator Alex Freeze as she takes three South Florida students on an expedition to discover the wilderness hidden in their own backyards.
The film is a co-production between Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management and The Palm Beaches. Day’s Edge Productions made the film with support from NRS, Pelican, Black Diamond, Riders Only, and Sunshine State Goods. Hidden Wild is also a required curriculum for 7th and 10th-grade science classes in the School District of Palm Beach County, Florida.
